Jade Garden Restaurant

Used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant but not now. My takeout order was hot but was terrible. Egg rolls that you buy in the frozen food section and chicken balls that were tough as a rubber ball. The vegetables were not the freshest. New ownership?

Best Chinese food in town! Love their chow mein and Kung Pao chicken. Service is always friendly and fast and the prices are great especially when you compare it to other similasr restaurants.

This is our go to Chinese food restaurant, my wife and I got engaged here. 4/5 because we miss the old egg rolls from 6 years ago lol. Nice family now, good price.

We went to Leechee until we took a chance and tried Jade. The food's overall quality and flavour stood out and it is now our go-to place for Chinese.

Have always been pleased with my orders in the past from this place and have never had a problem, until tonight when I decided to order takeout for my boyfriend and I. Everything was hot but definitely not the best. About 10-20 minutes later after eating we both did not feel good, I’ve been sick ever since I’ve ate. Not sure if it was just an old batch, or something in the food had expired but probably will not be going back.

Always great food, very quick and pleasant service. Great serving sizes always more than I can eat for a good price. I keep going back it's my go to place.

They don't have a giant buffet or any 2 for 1 specials like others who will remain nameless. They just have great fresh food for your enjoyment and homemade egg rolls made daily

Had their take-out a couple of times - neither was very impressive. Have to remember to not order from there again.

I used to go to the New Garden when the same owner owned it. He now owns the Jade Garden. I just love the curried beef extra spicy. Along with the rest of food.

Was not good at all food was not what we ordered and we were told to leave 15 minutes before they closed not happy with the way it was handled we and our fiends will not go back any time soon .

Amazing food one of the best in Kingston

Expect an hour to an hour and a half wait to get your order on a busy Friday evening... They don't hurry you out of the restaurant once you get your order, so it all works out OK..

Chicken balls here are always fresh and battered nicely. Fried rice could do with more veggies however.

Amazing food! You get a lot for your money, and it's super good, not dry like many places or overly oily. Great sauces on the different dishes and a lot of variety. The family that runs the business is super sweet and make sure you're okay throughout the meal without being overbearing. When my family comes from out of town, this is now our go-to place for real, good Chinese food!

This is a great restaurant to eat at.

First, understand what we are talking about here. It is not a fine dining Chinese food restaurant that you will find in Toronto or Vancouver. This is your classic eat-in/take-out Chinese food place. In its given genre, it is excellent. We do take-out here about one a month and enjoy it every time. It is reasonably priced and there are always leftovers to we get two meals for the price of one.

Best Chinese food by far! Love the beef with vegetables and black bean sauce, General Tao chicken and tofu with vegetables!! Very fresh. Am a repeat customer for many years.

Too salty. The general tao tasted good, very spicy. The chicken fried rice was ok. Egg rolls overcooked, as well as the chicken balls. Quality of meat used mediocre in my opinion. Still looking for a good Chinese restaurant in Kingston.
